I purchased this piece about 35 years ago and it has been part of my personal collection. I am not a dealer. The length of each side of the large link chain is 5 1/2 “…total length is 10″. Size from hook to eye is 16 3/4″. The stone has a white matrix in it with some copper. The size of the tq. is 1/2″ wide at the top and 3/4″ long. It is a natural stone–untreated. What a unique item–found it at an upstate Vermont auction house value box a few days ago–mixed in with a bunch of Indian prints and various other tribal items–It appears to be some sort of carrying container attached to a necklace and has a bone plug for the bunghol at the top of the container…. The container itself is most interesting–it appears to from a ghourd and has bone attached and necklace and pair of tweezers attached….probably used to carry herb of some sort or a medeci ne of native importance… Anyway–thanks for looking at my stuff–its an interesting item what to heck ever it is… Thanks again…
