Blue, pink and white created opals are inlaid into each 1″ long by 1/2″ at widest sterling silver watch tips. The created opals on this watch are excellent quality! Full of fire and vibrant life. It just does not show up clearly in our pictures. A watch such as this will not fit large wrists. This is due to the size of the watch tips and the fact they are formed on a curvature. Interior relaxed measure is 6 1/2″ with a max stretch of about 7 1/2″ Complimentary white watch face with black numerals and second hand is included with purchase as is a 1/4″ flexible stainless steel watch band. Back of each watch tip is marked Sterling and Francis. This item was hand crafted by Navajo artist Robert Francisco. Very pretty and feminine watch without being overdone. Superb workmanship and colorful is how this watch with multi stone inlay of blue turquoise, black jet, yellow jasper and mother of pearl white shell could be described. Very detailed inlay which stands close to 1/8″ off the sterling silver watch tips. This type of inlay work is traditionally Zuni in origin however we believe the artist of this watch to be Navajo. According to “Hallmarks of the Southwest” by Barton Wright, page 83 there is illustration of hallmark found on this watch and is for Navajo artist T Jackson. The white watch face features two silver tone Kokopelli in the center. There are Roman numerals at each position around the dial. watch does have a second hand. Each watch tip measures 1 1/8″ long on the curvature by 1/2″ wide where tips attach to watch face and 1/4″ wide below. Each watch tip is somewhat curved inside to fit against he wrist. This watch will not fit large wrists due to the strong curvature of watch tips. My wrist is a 6 3/4″ and it fits me fine, will a slight bit of movement. Total measure of watch tips and face is 3 1/4″. Complimentary stainless steel stretch watch band, 1/4″ wide included with purchase. Relaxed interior measure 6 1/2″, max stretch 7 1/2″. Each watch tip is stamped Sterling and artist’s initials which are T J. This watch was purchased new and has never been worn or displayed. Navajo TURQUOISE and CORAL Bracelet/watch This is a beautiful Navajo turquoise and coral sterling silver bracelet/watch. There is no signature to identify the artist but the fine detailed feather and sawtooth bezel work are distinctive to the Navajo and othe Native American tribes. The inside measurement is 6″ and the gap is 1 1/4″ and the stones measure 1/2″-5/8″ at their largest measurement. Any questions, please do not hesitate emailing me through the ask the seller link.
